Maintaining good health just got a lot easier in L.A. County. Healthy Way L.A. is a NO COST coverage program that gives you high quality medical care with more flexibility and coordination. That means less time spent sitting in doctors’ offices and more time enjoying the activities you like

With Healthy Way L.A., you choose a permanent medical home at one of more than 100 clinic sites. With a medical home, you go to the same location for nearly all of your medical care needs. Your medical home is staffed by providers who know you by name and how to keep you in optimal health.

Take the first step to good health by seeing if you can enroll. You must meet the following eligibility requirements to enroll in Healthy Way L.A.:

  • Residency: Los Angeles County

  • Age: Adult, 19 to 64 years of age

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen/National or Legal Permanent Resident of 5 + years

  • Income: Monthly income limit ($1,207 or less for a family of one)

  • Pregnancy: Not pregnant or eligible for Medi-Cal or Healthy Families

If you meet the requirements above, Healthy Way L.A. could be your passport to a healthier life. Healthy Way L.A. covers both outpatient AND inpatient services. Plus, you receive many other benefits like:

211 LA County is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, formerly known as INFO LINE of Los Angeles. Since 1981, 211 LA County has provided free, confidential services 24 hours a day, seven days a week in English, Spanish, and more than 140 other languages via a tele-interpreting service. Services are also provided for individuals with hearing impairments. Professional community resource advisors help callers with critical issues such as health care and substance abuse, domestic violence, shelter, food, legal and financial assistance, programs for children and seniors, and different types of mental health services. Our community resource database contains information on over 49,000 programs and services and is continuously being updated to ensure that we provide the most current and accurate information possible.
